VillAmorosa is a 19th century tuscan Villa standing in the shadow of the little famous tower also mentioned in Dante's Divine Comedy in the XXI Canto of the Inferno:

So I beheld once afraid the soldiers 
Who issued under safeguard from Caprona bargained,
se'tra seeing so many foes

The B&B is located in the center of the village of Caprona, close to the historic town of Calci and framed by the Monte Pisano (917 m), part of the tuscan mountain range of Apuan Alps, separating the provinces of Pisa and Lucca.

Thanks to the mild climate of this area, various outdoor activities are possible all year round:

Walking or cycling, you will discover a still authentic territory rich in natural beauty and ancient history through olive trees fields, rural farms, ancient mills, XI-century parish churches, monasteries. All these elements are concentrated in the so-called "Valgraziosa vale", sorrounded and protected by the mountain while facing the seaside. 

At a short distance from B&B VillAmorosa you can visit many examples of Romanesque Pisan, such as the parish churches of Pieve di Santa Giulia in Caprona and Pieve di Calci, or the most famous Certosa di Calci, a former Carthusian monastery, today a Museum of Natural History and of the Territory owned by Pisa University. 

A few kilometers from our Villa deserves a visit the picturesque medieval village of Vicopisano with its famous tower of Brunelleschi and Buti with its ancient Villa Medicea.

At only 20 mins from Pisa International Airport, VillAmorosa is also a favorable starting point to reach the most beautiful main cities of Tuscany and coastal sites, such as: Marina di Pisa, Marina di Vecchiano, Torre del Lago or the breathtaking Cinque Terre.
